The Intra-company visa is applicable to employees to come or to stay in the UK to perform professional duties at their employer’s UK branch. You must have worked for your firm for at least 12 months overseas unless you will earn £73,900 or more in the UK. The Intra-company Transfer Visa has replaced the Tier 2 (Intra-company Transfer) Long Term-Staff visa and The Intra-company Graduate Trainee Visa has replaced the Tier 2 (Intra – company Transfer) Graduate Trainee Visa.

There are 2 types of Intra-company visas:

• Intra -company Transfer Visa
• Intra – company Graduate Trainee Visa1

What are the eligibility requirements for applying for intra- company visas?

To be eligible for an Intra-company Visas, you must show that you are:

• Presently employed by a company that has been approved by the Home Office as a sponsor.
• You have a certificate of sponsorship granted by your employer with full information about the role you have been offered in the UK.
• Your job must be on the list of eligible occupations.
• you will be paid at least £41,500 for an Intra-company Transfer Visa and at least £23,000 for an Intra-company Graduate Trainee Visa.
• You have spent at least 12 months outside the UK working for your sponsor or a business controlled by your sponsor, unless you plan to make £73,900 or more in the United Kingdom.
• Intra -company Graduate Trainee Visa is for transfers for a graduate training programme for a managerial and specialist role.
• you will have worked for your employer outside the UK at least 3 months before the date you are going to apply for the Intra-company Graduate Trainee Visa.
